Sheriff makes policy changes after man shot 16 times in bed | Local News | The Seattle Times.
I was alerted to this story by Will Grigg on Lew Rockwell’s blog. This is the email I sent to the reporter:
Dear Mr. Miletich,
The next time you write about this story, please open w the most important issue: Two members of a paramilitary gang (the Sheriff’s Office and the Dept of Corrections) are NOT being charged w attempted murder for the unprovoked attack on Dustin Theoharis, despite the 16 bullets recovered from his body.
The strained relationship between these two tax supported disasters is a non-issue. As a member of the media, it is your job to be a government watchdog, to keep them honest, not to repeat trite PR platitudes.
Thank you,
Michael Devaney
